Philip Garvin

Mobile TV Group, Founder and CEO

Philip Garvin is the founder and CEO of Mobile TV Group (MTVG), responsible for the production of over 4,000 live events a year and the main provider to regional sports networks. He is also the president of Colorado Studios which is an audio/video manufacturing facility specializing in building mobile units and supporting live video transport. Garvin has built his businesses around his experience as a creative producer and technologist. By combining both skills, he has been able to offer cost-effective production solutions that are unique in the industry.

A graduate of Yale University, Garvin started his career as a photographer, publishing multiple books and producing various documentaries before moving into television in the mid-70s. In 2001, he co–founded HDNet with Mark Cuban, the first all high-definition national television network. He was its general manager for twelve years. Garvin also serves on the board for various technology start ups.

MTVG has led live 4K HDR productions in the U.S. covering the PGA Tour, NBA, NHL, UFC, college football, entertainment, and corporate events for many of the top Fortune 500 companies.
