Ronald Eligator is an expert in architectural acoustics, sound isolation, mechanical noise and vibration control, and environmental acoustics. He has over 35 years of experience in the design of acoustically sensitive spaces for a wide variety of projects and offers specialized expertise for film, broadcast, and production facilities. He has worked on television, radio, and film studios, as well as technical facilities for clients that include NBCU, ABC, Fox, HBO, News Corp, Viacom, Globo, and numerous others.

Among other accomplishments, Eligator has developed sophisticated computer modeling approaches to speech intelligibility analysis for large, reverberant spaces; designed cost-effective sound barrier construction for broadcast and performing arts facilities subject to aircraft overflights by applying standard building materials and systems in novel ways; and mentored early career acoustic and architectural professionals in his firm, as well as through lectures and presentations at several consulting firms and universities.
